Mark joined Prisma Public Relations during the crisis year of 1998 and now runs GroupW, the strategic advisory arm of Prisma that focuses on providing research-driven communications to address organizational change and risk management.
During his career in public relations, Mark has worked with Hill & Knowlton, Burson-Marsteller, Ogilvy, and Fleishman-Hillard, and across Asia – from Tokyo to Singapore, Hongkong, Seoul, and Bangkok.
In Jakarta for the past two decades, Mark has provided strategic direction and communications counsel to Fortune 100 multinationals and leading Indonesian organizations on corporate positioning, brand leadership, and CSR.
Mark is a founding principal in the @america project, a ground-breaking initiative in public diplomacy designed to reach out to Indonesia’s youth. Located in Pacific Place Mall, @america has seen 350,000 visitors in its first two years of operation.
He serves as a member of the Board of Governors of AmCham Indonesia.
Mark is a graduate of Haverford College, a Quaker school outside Philadelphia, with a B.A. in Political Science, and of the International School of Geneva, where his basketball team won the Swiss National Championship. In addition to speaking Bahasa Indonesia, he still remembers some French and German.
